- Playground inspections/audits using the current CSA Z614 Standard National Standard of Canada for Public Playspaces and Equipment (CSA Z614:20). Upon completion of our on-site evaluation, an easy-to-read, detailed and photographic (site photos) written report will be provided. Our comprehensive reports are offered in electronic form (PDF). Our reports include:
- Site data and inventory;
- Photo and descriptive summaries of the playspace area and equipment;
- Photo of all identified non-compliant deficiencies and potential hazards;
- Hazard-risk identification ratings for all deficiencies and hazards;
- Conclusion and recommendations on identified deficiencies and hazards.

- Surface impact testing to measure Head Injury Criteria (H.I.C.) and GMAX (Maximum Gravitational Force of Impact) is also offered to assure you that your supplied surfaces and/or your operational practices are achieving CSA requirements. We perform impact-surfacing tests using the Triax 2015 to record impact data. The only accurate method for testing onsite surface “impact-attenuation” is by using the Triax 2015 to perform complex drop-tests.
- Playground Consultating – Consulting services relating to technical, development (layout) and maintenance.
- Review of Design Development (DD);
- Review of Construction Drawings (CD);
- Review and full inspection after installation.
- Staff training – Offering presentations and seminars on playground inspections; provide staff training (in-class and on-site).
- Gymnasium Equipment inspections – basketball standards, gymnastic equipment, scoreboards, padding/mats, floors, etc.
- OPHEA Guidelines used.
- Minor repairs conducted at time of inspection.
- Major equipment repairs.
